Why should I try Rainbow Paws Grooming?

Not every dog thrives in a busy salon—and not every groomer has the patience or experience to meet every dog’s unique needs. At Rainbow Paws Grooming, every appointment is one-on-one in a calm, private studio where your dog’s comfort comes first. Before the service begins, each dog is given time to acclimate and relax. Halfway though your dog will enjoy a rest/water break and treats if allowed.

With 16+ years of professional grooming experience and a veterinary background, I specialize in helping senior, medically compromised, fearful, and behaviorally challenged dogs have a safer, less stressful grooming experience. Many of my clients happily travel beyond their neighborhood because they’re looking for personalized, expert care they can’t find in a traditional grooming salon.

How does home based grooming work?

Rainbow Paws operates from a private, appointment-only grooming studio located inside my home. Clients enter through the home to access the grooming area, where every dog receives one-on-one attention in a calm, quiet environment. Without the noise, crowded waiting rooms, or kennel stress of a traditional salon, I can focus entirely on your dog’s comfort, safety, and individual needs. This personalized approach is especially beneficial for senior, medically compromised, fearful, and behaviorally challenged dogs.

I work all day. Are there evening appointments available?

Yes. Limited evening appointments may be available upon request, subject to availability. Please mention your preferred days and times when submitting your appointment request.

Are there any breed or weight restrictions?

Double-coated breeds release a large amount of loose undercoat during grooming, which creates heavy shedding that can quickly overwhelm a home environment and is difficult to fully contain or clean up.

For this reason, I do not offer any grooming for double-coated breeds.

House call services are also limited by size for safety and equipment needs: full grooming is available for dogs up to 30 lbs, and short-hair bath services are available for dogs up to 60 lbs.

Do you travel?

House calls are available to dog owners with their own pet grooming table, or those who have a pet spa in their building. At least 3 days notice is required. There is a travel fee for house calls based on distance. This is to account for travel time, equipment set up & break down, and clean up of the grooming area.
