My Vision

My vision is to create a place where dogs who have been overlooked, turned away, or misunderstood finally feel safe. I want Rainbow Paws Grooming to be the first choice for pet parents seeking compassionate, specialized grooming and an experience built on trust.

Specialty Grooming Tailored to Your Dog

Every dog is unique. Therefore, every experience is tailored to your dog’s specific needs. From routine maintenance to specialized care for senior, medically compromised, fearful, and first-time puppies, I provide one-on-one grooming tailored to your dog’s individual needs In Brooklyn, NY.

My Philosophy

My job isn’t to force your dog through the process, it’s to adjust the process to your dog.

Some dogs need more than a haircut. They need patience, experience, and someone who understands their unique challenges. Rainbow Paws Grooming was created for those dogs. Every appointment is designed to build trust, reduce stress, and help your dog feel more comfortable with grooming over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please call (646) 963-1094 if you cannot find the answer to your question.

Why should I try Rainbow Paws Grooming?

Not every dog thrives in a busy salon, and not every groomer has the patience or experience to meet every dog’s unique needs. At Rainbow Paws Grooming, every appointment is one-on-one in a calm, private home studio where your dog’s comfort comes first. Before the service begins, each dog is given time to acclimate and relax. Halfway though your dog will enjoy a rest/water break and treats if allowed.

With 16+ years of professional grooming experience and a veterinary background, I specialize in helping senior, medically compromised, fearful, and behaviorally challenged dogs have a safer, less stressful grooming experience. Many of my clients happily travel beyond their neighborhood because they’re looking for personalized, expert care they can’t find in a traditional grooming salon.

Do you groom cats?

Rainbow Paws Grooming no longer grooms cats.

How does home based grooming work?

Rainbow Paws operates from a private, appointment-only grooming studio located inside my home. Clients enter through the home to access the grooming area, where every dog receives one-on-one attention in a calm, quiet environment. Without the noise, crowded waiting rooms, or kennel stress of a traditional salon, I can focus entirely on your dog’s comfort, safety, and individual needs. This personalized approach is especially beneficial for senior, medically compromised, fearful, and behaviorally challenged dogs.

How much does it cost?

For current pricing information, Please visit the “Services” Page. Prices are based on breed, size, and coat condition.

I work all day. Are there evening appointments available?

Yes. Limited evening appointments may be available upon request, subject to availability. Please mention your preferred days and times when submitting your appointment request.

Are there any breed or weight restrictions?

Double-coated breeds release a large amount of loose undercoat during grooming, which creates heavy shedding that can quickly overwhelm a home environment and is difficult to fully contain or clean up.

For this reason, I do not offer any grooming for double-coated breeds.

House call services are also limited by size for safety and equipment needs: full grooming is available for dogs up to 30 lbs, and short-hair bath services are available for dogs up to 60 lbs.

Do you travel?

Rainbow Paws Grooming only offers house calls to clients with pet spas in their building at this time. At least three days advanced notice has to be given to schedule an appointment.
